One Shot Wednesdays

Hi All!

I'm back for another one-shot Wednesday. This week's fic comes from FanFiction, so no account neccessary to read. This weeks recommendation is also a little different from the others as this has no pairing, it's just about one sole person...Rosalie. I'll admit, Rosalie wasn't one of my favorites, well, not until Eclipse when we finally got to understand her a little more.

Rating: M for violence

Summary: This is the tale of Rosalie's revenge on Royce shortly after she was changed.

Why I Love It: This one-shot is well written and full of substance, which has been hard for me to find as of late. I love how she has, essentially, captured the essence of a pissed off, vengeful Rosalie Hale. Now, there is some, okay, a lot of violence, but it was a good read.

At the end of the hall stood a lone door, Royce's office, his name stood out on
the plaque that adorned the mahogany wood. From behind it I could hear the
noises of his rapid heart rate and heightened breathing, he knew I was here. I
smirked to myself as I re-arranged the dress one last time and walked down the
hallway slowly. It seemed oddly fitting for me to have some music, so I hummed
'Here Comes the Bride' as I approached the door. As I turned the handle I began
to sing,

"Here comes the bride, here comes the bride, all dressed in white." I could hear the coward's sobs on the other side of the locked door. So I decided to prolong his agony, twisting the handle a few times before it was pulled clear from the wood.

If you've always been left wondering what happened that night, this story will definetely be your cup of tea. It's one of those that hit the nail on the head, so to speak. It was only published a few days ago so could definetely use some love...so go show it some. Until next Wednesdays chickadees...

One-Shot Wednesdays

Hello my lovelies!

It is...once again, Wednesday afternoon meaning we have another rendition of One-Shot Wednesdays. This week was a little harder to find a one shot that I liked, and believe me, I went through a lot of different pairings. After, in my opinion, little success, I went back to a one-shot that I read when it was first published back in December of '09 for the I Get Off in Volterra contest. Hope you enjoy it, I know I sure did.

The Broken Road Leads Home by NCChris

Pairing: Bella/Demetri (Human/Vampire)

Rating: MA for citrusy goodness

Summary: Bella and Alice save Edward in Volterra like in New Moon. However, Bella does not get her happy ending with Edward as he does not return home with them. Time passes, and with the help of the rest of the Cullen's, Bella is able to move on and go to college. What happens when a member of the Volturi guard visits Bella to see if she is still human? Will Bella get her second chance at love?

Why I love it: This was actually the fic that got me started on the Demetri/Bella pairing. It is darn near impossible to find a fic with this pairing and is well-written and this one fits the bill. I think that this has a lot of potential to grow into a multi-chapter story, not that it really needs to. I especially like that Demetri had started the Vegetarian diet in order to be with Bella. Not to mention the interaction between Jasper and Bella in the story (it's no secret, I'm a complete sucker when it comes to the Major).

Now onto the lemon (because we all know that's what we care about). It's pretty hot...and realistic (always important). The one thing I liked about the lemon was the fact that it didn't go through the whole 'breaking of the barrier' that most fics go through with Bella and her first time having sex. Honestly, how many times can we read the same thing over and over again? Okay, scratch that last one...how many times have we read Twilight again?

One Shot Wednesdays

Welcome to One Shot Wednesdays where every Wednesday, I will be reccommending a one-shot of any pairing. This week's one-shot comes from one of my favorite fan-fiction authors, Cullen818. If you haven't read her stuff...you should. She is an amazing author, and her main pairing is usually Jasper/Bella.

Anything For You by Cullen818

Summary: Jasper Whitlock is Bella's dominant and she completley, and happily, submits to his will. What happens when their will is tested when Jasper's friend/mentor Peter joins them in the playroom? Rated MA for lemons. All human.

Pairing: Jasper/Bella/Peter

Why I love it: As with all of her fics, it is very written and has a great plotline and has a ton of potential to be come a full-fledge story. Not to mention, it's a Peter, Bella, Jasper pairing and, lets be honest, who doesn't love a PB &J sandwhich?

For a one-shot, I feel that it is very well developed and really sucks you in. Please check it out and show it some love because she deserves it.
